Walter Family

You may remember the gorgeous Walter couple from their beautiful fall wedding a couple years ago.  Recently I got to photograph them again and meet their newest little addition (who very well may be the cutest thing on the planet)!  This little family is just so sweet and I was so blessed to be able to spend some time with them!  I hope you enjoy some of my favorites below!

Cam Tu – University of Arkansas Class of 2017

I did an amazing College Senior Session with this sweet lady recently!  College Senior Sessions are sessions that I don’t get to do often, but ones that I absolutely love!  This beautiful girl is the Class of 2017 at the University of Arkansas and will become an engineer!  We walked around the campus and took photos on Old Main Lawn, in front of the Bell Engineering building, and also near some of the most iconic locations at the U of A!  Here are some of my favorites that we took of her during her session.  I absolutely can’t wait to see where life takes her!

Mr & Mrs LaTour – Fayetteville Wedding

This sweet wedding was absolutely divine!  It was full of love, laughter, beauty, and pure joy!  This gorgeous couple tied the knot in a lovely ceremony on the groom’s family’s property in Fayetteville, Arkansas.  Against the backdrop of the Razorback Stadium, this couple vowed their love for one another in a ceremony that had everyone (including me) bawling!  Their love is truly something special, and I absolutely can’t wait to see where life takes them!

Melany – Grad Session

MelanyGrad

Congratulations to Melany for graduating with her Masters of Science in Operations Management from the University of Arkansas!  We had a blast with her session at the U of A in Fayetteville, AR!  I absolutely loved getting to capture this wonderful milestone in her life and I wish her all the best in her future endeavors!

When the lovely Melany first contacted me, I was surprised to find out that she wanted a photo session to capture the accomplishment of her graduating from college.  As a photographer, typically I get many High School Senior session requests, but I have never gotten a request for a College Grad session.  My biggest question is, “why didn’t this happen sooner?”  High School Senior sessions are to capture the life-stage of passing from childhood and into adulthood.  It’s a time of self discovery, uncertainty, and growing up.  In the same way, when you are graduating from college, you are finally coming into who you are.  You have completed making a path to who you want to be and what you want to accomplish in life.  This is a time in one’s life that should be captured indeed!

While doing this session with Melany, I kept thinking that these College Grad sessions need to become a bigger trend!  Graduating college is a huge accomplishment in one’s life!  It is a time where you are finally becoming the person who you have worked so hard to be!  College is a huge part of life, and so many things and changes happen during this period!  Coming out of college, you are new, fresh, and full of spunk to meet the world!  This session was a great way to say, “Watch out world, here I come!”

If you are graduating college, I strongly encourage you to do a Grad session!  It is a beautiful way to capture this fleeting moment in your life and to have something tangible to look back on!  Graduating college is bittersweet.  You leave behind so much of what has become a part of you, but you are ready to go out and meet the world and offer them all of your talents, skills, and ideas!  It is a moment that should be captured to be sure!
